Inputs and providers
We process submitted public video URLs, available captions, temporary video/audio, sampled frames and claim assessments. Hosting, storage and inference use Microsoft Azure. Claims are sent to Brave Search. Instagram retrieval may use Apify when enabled. These services apply their own data policies. Submit only material you have permission to process; never submit sensitive or confidential content.
Public reports and retention
Checks of submitted public URLs may be retained as public reports discoverable through feeds and share links. Do not submit a URL if you do not want its analysis to be public. Temporary downloaded media is removed after processing; failures may delay cleanup. Evidence, usage and security records may remain in backend storage.
Your browser and account
History and saved reports stay in this browser, not across devices. Clear site data to remove local history. Where sign-in is available, we store email, credential hashes and usage. Network-derived identifiers enforce limits. Protect stored API keys like passwords.
Deletion and corrections
Account deletion is available to signed-in users from Account. Access is revoked and the active profile is cleared; minimal pseudonymous security and transaction records may remain. Public reports are not user-authored account posts. For correction or removal of a report, include its public URL in a request using the issue tracker. Do not put credentials or personal records in a public issue.
