Accessible video is transcribed and sampled across the clip. Captions and on-screen text provide context. A few still frames cannot establish every motion, edit or detail. Missing video or speech reduces coverage and is identified.
Find evidence
Checkable claims are searched against public sources. Evidence used for each assessment is linked. If a page cannot be read, evidence can be limited to a search snippet; that scope is recorded. Related coverage is not automatically corroboration.
Keep uncertainty visible
Claims are assessed as supported, false, misleading or unverifiable. Optional cross-check and tie-break stages compare evidence-based assessments; model agreement does not prove correctness. Visual concerns are not certified deepfake detection. We do not provide calibrated authenticity probabilities.
Check dates
A saved report is not a new investigation. Read the checked-at and source dates and recheck if facts may have changed. Inspect linked sources before relying on a result.
